A seasoned radio broadcaster with almost 20 years in the industry, Ray White has extensive experience both in front of the mic and behind the scenes.
Ray's radio career started out at the SABC in 1993, where he performed various roles including reporting, newsreading and bulletin editing. For nine years he was part of the afternoon drive show on 5fm.
From the national broadcaster, he moved on to host the Rise and Rock breakfast show on Radio 2000 in 2006.
His TV work includes hosting the news on SABC International as well as producing News Night, the flagship show that launched the E-News channel in 2008.
Following this successful launch, Ray returned to radio, to take up the position of afternoon/evening news anchor on Talk Radio 702. At the beginning of 2012 Ray took over the reigns as the early breakfast host on the talk station, starting the day for Gauteng's early birds with a mix of news, information and entertainment from 4am to 6am.
He is currently the weekend news editor for EWN as well as a regular substitute for many 702 shows and EWN anchors.

Off-air, Ray is a devoted father to his daughter Chloe. He is a warm and highly professional MC and a great teacher for those needing to learn how to write for news or wanting to work in journalism and radio.
